Stations of the Cross refers to a series of artistic representations depicting Christ carrying the cross to his crucifixion in the final hours of his life, sometimes known as the Passion of Christ; and to devotions commemorating the Passion that use the series of 14 stations. Participants often move physically around a set of stations.
